Your support preserves Nantucket's greatest resource- its people.
The housing crisis presents a serious threat to the preservation of Nantucket’s character. Astronomical land prices, high construction costs, and a strong tourist economy make housing the island’s workforce an incredible task. Many residents face a dismal choice: live in unsafe conditions, or relocate off-island. This unsustainable cycle deteriorates the community and leaves inadequate human resources for essential services. We can do better, but we can't do it alone.
